Michisoft Reader Studio 1.0b
This programm can convert html or txt files into
a Microsoft Reader eBook (*.lit).
It even allows you to include your own cover and thumbnail images!
How it works:
1. To begin, you need all the source files for your eBook.
The book can either be an html or a txt document.
All images should be in jpg format:
Cover Image: 510x680
Thumbnail Image: 99x132
Pocket PC Cover: 350x175
Pocket PC Thumbnail: 90x45
If you don't choose an image, the converter will use
a default picture.
If you want to include a hyperlinked table of contents, then you must
use html files. Make sure that your links work before you start the conversion.
You are limmited to one html file for the ebook.
For example:
To create a link to the beginning of a chapter in book.html:
Contents.html:
<a href="book.htm#01">01 Chapter One</a>
Book.html:
bla bla
<a name="01">Chapter One</a>
2. Start Reader Studio and enter The book's title and author and
load the cover/thumbnail images.
You can also include a table of contents (html only) and an
about page for the book.
3. Save your eBook into your "My Library" folder and you are done!

This just means that u can only use letters and numbers and spaces,
nothing else, like periods, dash's or whatever.
Including any name inside the "title" tags in you htm/html doc/file.
One other thing, the closing brackets on a image file in your html doc,
and any style sheets must look link this.
xml tag.
Image example: <img align="left" border="0" hspace="10" vspace="10" src="bookcov.jpg" width="293" height="475" />
Style Sheet example: </style />
By doing all of this I don't get errors...so far.
