There are many things that I cannot do but one of them that is bothering me the most is that i cannot read russian..

I see that many members of this forum are russian and I have heard that it is a very sweet language...

someone posted this link:

Code: Select all
http://career-english.ru/library.htm

and it is quite a large collection of ebooks but after I click on any link(that says fb2) I see only russian and cannot make out anything...
Please tell me if any of these books are for download, and if so, how to download them.....

awaitnig your reply...

bye..

When I first checked the link when I coded it it worked ok but just to make
sure I have checked it again.

I went to that link with no problems and the first book i clicked on was
Albom, Mitch . Tuesdays with Morrie, fb2. The link worked fine and took
me to ZShares website where i had no issue getting the downoad.

After downloading i extracted it our of the rar then out of the zip with no
complaints. I opened file in notepad as i dont have the reader the file
needs and indeed it was a book in english.

The formatting was wrong but thats due to notepad not being able to sort
the formatting but it was an english book. So i cant see what problem
you have had.

What I will say is you do need FB2 reader for the books or the converter
to convert to another format but they are provided on that link on the right
hand side at the top of the book list.

I used firefox to check the link so you might wanna try that if you were
using IE. But as far as i can see there is alittle russian on the site but
there are also english books on there.

Hope that helps :D

I have checked the file and neither of those books were in there, the nearest was Otherside of Midnight.

For future reference when you come across a site that is in a foreign language try using a translation service like

Code: Select all
http://world.altavista.com/tr

That is what i did to translate to text from the russian language to english so i could navigate it.

Just paste the text you wanna translate in the box select languages you want it coverted from and press translate, it isnt perfect but it gives enough of a translation to know what you need to do.

The russian on that link said to press blah and select a sponser wait 30 second then download would begin. Hope that helps in future :D
