Recommendations of Books

Postby kitkat_7673 » Wed Feb 03, 2010 11:46 pm

Hello All,

I am writing this for my sister as she keeps saying "I needs more books!" can anyone help me with some book recommendations for her. Her main requirements are;

The Series must be ended and no more than 5 books.
Urban fantasy but no Adult content.
She also likes them to have a decent plot.

Other books she has read and liked are:
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan,
Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare,
Fallen by Thomas E. Sneigoski

Many thanks for your help in this.

Those are some tough requirements!

There are several series that are ended, but I fear none fit the 5 book limit. Is that negotiable?

Hello dr1977,

Yes it can be negotiable as my sister has now informed me that it can go up to seven but the highest is nine, but the series does have to be finished as Harry Potter and now the Mortal Instruments have used up her patience quota.

Many thanks for any help you can give me for book series or standalone novels is greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for your help.

How about the Ink trilogy by Cornelia Funke? I have them in ebook form if you want them. Oh, I missed the stand alone novel part, that makes it much easier. There's also the Lemony Snickets, there are 13, but they are short books and the series is complete. I also have those. Let me think about the stand alone's and I'll get back to you. :D
